The KINEMATICA rotor/stator technology is established in most laboratory, pilot plant and processing facilities and is today the standared for several different applications like:

  • Dispersing

The rotor/stator principle has been developped from Professor Willems - the founder of KINEMATICA - over 40 years ago. The heart piece of every KINEMATICA dispersing machine and of the r/s-principle is the dispersing generator which consists of two teeth rings - in short words. One of them is fixed and does not move - the stator; the other is driven by a motor through the shaft and turns around inside the stator - the rotor. The shear forces and bounce effects which are created between the running rotor and the stator treat the product mechanically, so for example 2 phases can be homogenised in short time.

  

The following systems can be treated with our rotor/stator homogenizing generators:

  • fluid - fluid
  • fluid - gas
  • fluid - solid
The above described rotor/stator technology is used for two different application principles at KINEMATICA, namely the batch application and the inline application.

Batch-Application - POLYTRON

POLYTRON and BIOTRONA batch processors are immersed directly into the medium. They can easily be mounted to a premix or processing tank by using a vessel clamp or a stand or can be connected to the cover by a flange.

The POLYTRON family is designed in order to be fitted to every usual working vessel and application.



Inline-Application - MEGATRON

MEGATRON inline processors are in-line with the product stream, so the product has to flow through the working chamber where it will be treated by the generator(s).

They can easily be built into existing into an existing production line using all common inlet/outlet connections.

When using a MEGATRON dispersing machine it is also possible to recirculate the product some times using a recirculating system - the results can be increased in some applications.
